Thank you for visiting MeritBadgeMan! My team, and I, have set up Boy Scout Merit Badge classes for Scouts in Southern California. I, along with some very professional helpers, will do our best to make the classes informative, as well as engaging!

Note: if you have a non-Scout friend that is interested in joining Scouting, and is interested in a class, feel free to bring them - at no charge. They will not get a blue card, of course, but they might become interested enough to join your Troop!

Date: Saturday, April 27th
Time: Class starts PROMPTLY at 9am, until ABOUT 1:30. Please arrive early so we can check everyone in.

What to wear: Class B uniform and close toed shoes - sandals or flip flops will not be allowed due to safety concerns.
What to bring: A CHAIR, clipboard with Merit Badge worksheet, proof of completed prerequisites, water bottle, lunch, your completely filled out blue card with name, Troop info, etc, signed by your ScoutMaster, and a good attitude.
There is no age requirement for this class. Just needs to be a registered Scout.
Lunch will NOT be provided. Feel free to bring a lunch, or, there are several fast-food locations nearby for parents to get and bring back a lunch at the 11:30 (give or take) lunch break.
Scouts not being participatory, or engaged, during class time, will not receive a completed blue card.
Ticket sales start Feb 19th at 9am. Limit of 4 tickets per purchase so everyone has a chance to attend. Parents staying for class do NOT need tickets (since they don't get blue cards! :)
There are no refunds. Class is published about 60 days prior to class day. Class is limited to 140 Scouts to ensure that we have a quality program. DO NOT purchase a ticket if you do not plan on using it. If you cannot attend, please feel free to find someone to switch with, BUT THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS. Sorry, and thank you. (Too many prior classes had people buy up a bunch of tickets, then want refund right before class day, when others that couldn't attend due to sellout, had made other plans - please understand - thank you).
Anyone being distracted by an electronic device during class time will not receive a completed blue card or a refund. We are all Scouts and know the rules prior to any Scout event.
